What you get

Label designer
Design labels in millimetres with text, barcodes, images and counters. Save versions and drafts as you work.
Straight to the printer
Prints ZPL over TCP port 9100 to Zebra and other ZPL-compatible printers, with printer discovery on your own network.
Barcodes and counters
EAN, Code 128, QR and GS1-128. Counters number your labels for you, also when you print several copies at once.
Local API
Print from your own software with a local REST API and API keys. Ideal for ERP, WMS or a weighing scale.
History on your PC
Every print is stored locally in a database, with previews. Nothing leaves your computer.

The cloud version is billed per printer, per year. The local edition stays free; you only pay for what runs in the cloud.

How it works
Install
Run the installer on a Windows PC. The node starts as a service and opens its own local page.
Add your printer
Scan your network or enter the IP address. PrintAgent asks the printer for its model and resolution.
Design and print
Create a template in the designer, fill in the values and print. Your history fills up automatically.

- Windows 10 or 11, 64-bit
- A label printer with ZPL emulation (Zebra and most compatible brands)
- Network access to the printer on TCP port 9100
- No account and no internet connection required
What it is not
The local edition prints labels, not PDF documents, and it does not manage users or several locations. It is also not open source: the source code stays with Tegra Systems. Do you need central management, roles or auditing? Then the cloud version is the better fit.
Questions about the free version
Is it really free?
Yes. The Community Edition has no trial period, no printer limit and no print limit. You only pay if you also want the cloud version.
Do I need an account?
No. You install the node and start designing. An account is only needed when you link the node to the cloud.
Does it work without internet?
Yes. Templates, printers and history are stored on your own PC. Printing keeps working when the connection drops.
Which printers are supported?
Every printer that understands ZPL, such as Zebra, plus most compatible models from other brands. The built-in network scan asks the printer for its model and resolution.
Can I move to the cloud later?
Yes. You can link a node to a company at any time; your local templates and printers stay and start syncing with the cloud.
